Gulf Breeze Fishing Charters

Our boats run from Southwind Marina, 10121 Sinton Dr, on the Perdido Key side of Pensacola. From Gulf Breeze that's about 35–40 minutes west. We don't board anywhere in Gulf Breeze itself.

Planning the morning from Gulf Breeze

Allow the drive before your start time. The booking calendar shows the exact departure, and start times change with the season. The inshore trips suit families and first-timers. For a longer day, the offshore trips run five to ten hours and the deep drop runs twelve.

Know the water

Gulf Breeze sits on the peninsula between Pensacola Bay and Santa Rosa Sound, and its history is in the trees. In 1828 the United States set up its first national tree farm here, the Naval Live Oak Reservation. Today the Naval Live Oaks Area of Gulf Islands National Seashore holds the park's headquarters and more than seven miles of trails down to the sound and the bay, and FWC lists its beach among the area's popular fishing spots. The city's Shoreline Park covers about 155 acres, with a fishing pier and a boat launch. Off the north shore, Deadman's Island was once the area's ship quarantine station, and the city is protecting it with reefs and living shorelines. The bay bridge to Pensacola is named for General Daniel "Chappie" James, Jr. East of town, Santa Rosa Sound and The Narrows run 33 miles to Choctawhatchee Bay, sheltered from the Gulf by Santa Rosa Island, and concrete from the old Gulf Breeze fishing bridge went down as public reefs in 2016 and 2017.

Book with a $250 deposit or pay in full. A deposit booking’s balance is only charged once a captain has called the weather. If the captain cancels for weather, we’ll offer a new date or a credit first, or a full refund of what you paid.
