Plan Your Trip
Here is what to know before you step on the boat: where we meet, what we provide, what to bring, and how the weather call works.
Where we meet
Every trip leaves from Southwind Marina, 10121 Sinton Dr, Pensacola, FL 32507. Please be at the marina at least 5 minutes before your departure. Traffic to the water can be heavy in peak vacation season, so leave yourself time.
What's included
Rods, reels, tackle and lures are on the boat. Your fishing license is covered under the captain's license, so you do not need to buy a Florida fishing license.
What to bring
- Food and drinks, and bottled water
- A hat and sunglasses
- Non-spray sunscreen
- Dry gear in case it rains
Alcohol in moderation is fine. No hard liquor and no glass.
How many can come
It depends on the boat. The 42' Yellowfin and the 35' Contender take up to 6 anglers. Our two 25' Blackjacks take up to 4. Rates are per boat, not per person.
When trips run
We run morning, afternoon and full-day trips. Start times change with the season, so the booking calendar shows the exact departure time for your date. See what's in season on our fishing calendar.
Weather
Your captain makes the weather call. The balance is charged on the captain's weather call, never automatically on a timer.
